    Proud again!

    This time it’s about my GD. She’s just passed her driving theory test. 🚙

    Apparently now apart from the multiple choice questions candidates also have to watch a video and point out any potential hazards.

    I texted congratulations and asked if she would get a reward from her aged parents, She replied” One can hope!”

    Think it's alot harder to pass driving tests these days than it was in my day! However, I don't think they have to do the dreaded hand signals! Well done to your GD CLover!

      I passed my test 15 years ago, and everyone said how much harder for me than when they passed years ago. Theory test, hazard awareness (those videos) and under the bonnet test. No doubt it is even harder 15 years on.

        Well done to her it isn’t easy these days, I passed my test 3 rd time and have been driving 53 years good heavens !!! WG I remember the hand signals lol you had to have them in case the mechanical signals broke

          Clover - congratulations to your GD. As others have said, the test is a lot more complicated now - and so are the roads and the sheer volume of traffic on them can be daunting.

          I didn't mind hand signals - it was reversing round a corner I hated - for heavens sake, when would you reverse round a corner these days!!

              My GD is taking her driving test today. It is at 11.11am. A bit of a random time! Hopefully, I will be posting a comment to say she has passed. Fingers crossed xx
