    Feeling sad...

Will miss this girl so much when she goes back to Australia for another year on Sunday. Both DD and I are struggling at the moment, goodness know how she will be on Sunday.

    She is learning to knit........

      I understand Enfys xx

Hopefully it will go quicker than you think. We only expected DD3 to be away 6 to 8 months, but it will be 11 months by the time she gets back.
We haved missed them lots, but it has gone quicker then we thought it would

That is a shame, just when you have enjoyed having her home.

Enfys - I know you're proud of her, and it's great that she has the self-confidence and drive to take herself to the other side of the world for some adventures. But she will be keeping in touch (I know it's not the same) and that gorgeous photo shows that she's a homebody at heart. I think it's lovely that she's taking the skills taught by you (and your DD?) with her. Every time she knits she will think of home.

As Gem says, the time will pass more quickly than you think - this is the hardest part. Sending hugs. xx

It is sad Enfys but she will be having an amazing time and you wouldn’t want to deny her this, but as Gem says it will pass although it won’t seem like it at first. Tell you what though she’s a cracking good looking girl very pretty

Enfys of course you will both miss her when she goes back to Aus but you must be congratulated in bringing up a super confident young lady who has the nerve to travel to the other side of the world by herself ,something some of us would never consider at her young age, time will soon pass and she will be back home with you sooner than you think.

I think it’s because of DH’s state of health, but we are all so proud of her. Thanks everyone.

Enfys - you've got such a lot on your plate at the moment, and there must be days when you just want to hide under the duvet. Knowing your much-loved GD is so far away is one more burden to shoulder, and I hope the pride you have in this beautiful young lady helps.

Enfys - I hope you and the rest of the family are able to spend some time with your GD today. Store up some lovely memories from your holiday. What time does she leave tomorrow?
