    Roman catapult

My eldest is learning about the Romans in this country she loves history and went to York on a school trip last week , she slept over this last weekend both her and OH are big into history Egyptians are her speciality lol . Well they set to making a miniature sling shot not the hand held ones but a big one on wheels but in miniature size , she took it to school this week, and the children are in awe over it and actually works too, she is now the most popular girl in school , each time they have history now a different child is allowed to fire the shot , she got a gold sticker not from teacher but from headteacher, as did grandad he’s yet to clollect his , he’s been asked to go in and talk about this project of his , G/d is bursting with pride as am I

Wow, what a star Granddad he is, and a big 'well done' to GD for her enthusiasm. It's brilliant when a child can make such an impression on her friends and teachers at school. My GS1's claim to fame is doing the Rubik cube in under 1 min 30 secs and she loves the 'fame' it brings her!! I'm sure your GD1 will feel the same. It's lovely to be a bit special. xxx
