    Teaching Tactics!

Today we visited DD2. J, who is 5 wanted to play a game. He settled on Connect Four. He very soon picked up the way to play and forgot all about cheating! We must have played for an hour.😬😁
Time for Frustration and a few other games to be dusted off methinks.

A lovely photo GM nice to spend an hour playing games, I have to say your much younger than I imagined it’s because of your avatar , not sure if it’s a family member but I did not imagine you so young looking no offence I hope , you look smashing πŸ˜€

Haha Plant. He is the kind of child that tries to run before he can walk! When he won a game without cheating (he has been notorious for this) his Mummy asked him how he felt and he said β€œgood”. Oh how I hope it lasts.

Why thank you Qwerty you are too kind. Not so young. 70 next and wrinkly close up. πŸ˜† The avatar came from a birthday card.

I love it when they play games like that Grauntie. GS, 5, will sometimes (but would prefer an electronic device, is allowed!)
GD 8 now can play some of the adult games with us. We don't let much opportunity, as her little brother is only 2, but when she comes for sleepovers we can once he's in bed.
                Good boy not cheating!

(Poor Grauntie, them all imagining you an old lady! )

I'm hoping my avatar makes them all thinking I am young and unlined 😁
