    Moses, I'm nice!!

DD and SIL3 and little E stayed overnight at ours to look after the cats when we had a night away.
    All went well.
However the cats especially Moses spent most of it running away from little E. He loves the cats, is gentle and would never harm them. Cats however really dislike sudden unpredictive movements and noise.
They are used to E as he they have seen him at least once a week since they arrived, but they still avoid him.
E cannot understand why the cats run away from him although we have tried to explain.

DD said that when they stayed the night she heard him saying 'Why are you running away Moses? I'm nice!!'

Aww bless him for what he said to Moses.
Poor E,not understanding, its not always easy for little ones to understand.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gem, aww, poor Little E. He knows he means no harm to the cats, but they see it differently. I wonder if a little role play game might help him to see things from the cats' point of view?

        Oh bless him,
Cats are like that though as you know , some are more jumpy than others ,

Buzz doesn't care about sudden noises or movement, like when fireworks go off , he was lying flat on his back with his paws stretched out snoring,
Tallulah on the other hand , even if you drop something or make a sudden hand movement she runs.

E just wants to cuddle and stroke Moses doesn't he .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, my DIL1's cat is quite jumpy as well. Buzz sounds a very chilled out cat.

I expect eventually they will be seeking his lap to curl up on.
