Why is all this mess here from next week?!!

We keep the bulk of the indoor toys in the conservatory, which is in effect the playroom! We have a big IKEA storage unit which toy boxes can be slid in and out of.
After GSs 2 and 3 went home on Thursday I just left everything as it was in the conservatory and shut the door on it all. Little E was coming back the following day anyway.

Yesterday afternoon Little E arrived and went into the conservatory. He stopped, looked, astonished, and asked Why is all this mess here from next week??

He gets his yesterday and tomorrow etc mixed up, although he does usually know what day it is

Aww, bless him. At least he notices that usually the toys are neatly stored away when he arrives. I love that he calls is "mess"!

Gem, perhaps there's a new game to play before he goes home - "putting all the mess away"?

Daisy, to be fair usually he with his mum or dad, whoever collects him, do a lot of the tidying away.
On this occasion both younger grandsons had been here, little E went home straight after having his bath and was very ''tired and emotional'

Gem, I can imagine little E was tired out after such an exciting day. He's such a sweet heart, isn't he. xx

When he arrived on Thursday, little E commented that the conservatory was tidy
