Son in Law doing very well for his age!

Coming back from school on Friday afternoon, GD, Gs2 and I were chatting in the car.
My GS and my friend and ex next door neighbour share the same name.

I told GS that Wednesday would be a T day. Going to see my friend T in the morning and watching my GS T in his nativity play in the afternoon.
I told him that T and I had been friends long time, that he was older now and I liked to check on him. T asked how old and said 81.

'Daddy's older than T' GS piped up. 'No he isnt' replied GD.
'He is !' said GS indignantly 'Hes 84!'

When the laughter in the car died down we told him that is daddy is 48

He's doing very well with all his karate for 84!

Nothing like putting a few years on daddy's age.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

That made me laugh, Gem. I suppose in a young child's eyes there's not much difference between 48 and 84 - all adults are "old".

My GD1 told me, when she was younger, " you aren't old nan as you don't walk with a frame"!
