    Grandma's Christmas or birthday lists!

GS2, aged 5, was here yesterday. He watched some TV for part of the afternoon. One programme he likes is on a channel with adverts. All toys of course!
He seemed very keen on one toy, and mentioned it more than once.

"Well you could put that on your Christmas list" was my reply.
He smiled at me. "Grandma why don't you put that on YOUR Christmas or birthday list? Then we can play with it together!"

I told DD and she said GS thinks all the toys and drawing and craft equipment are mine, which he plays with while he is here
That explains why when he wants to borrow something he asks me if he can take it home and at the same time promises me he will bring it back next week!

That is very sweet Gemini, does he think you play with them when he is not there.

Gem, what a little sweetheart he is. Things that live in your house are obviously yours and he's so polite asking to borrow them when he's there. Also if you have that toy on your Christmas list he knows you will play with it with him when he visits.

Children's minds can be really interesting, GD2 always said she had 2 homes! She had as well. GD1, she will be 16 years old next week, she walked into "her" room a few months ago and I had moved a painting she had made, she came to me, very annoyed and asked where the rabbit was???? Of course I put it back to where it belonged.
