My 3 year old grandson and I went to the library yesterday. Our library is currently being run from a bus. I have taken GS before but not for a year or more and he had forgotten. His other gran takes him to the big central library in town, so as ours is currently so small I haven't bothered much, and I have a lot of books at my house.
We went yesterday and he loved it, especially the whole novelty of the bus and the doors which we could open from outside by pressing a button!
We were there a long time and read a lot of books.
While I was checking out his books he decided to sing a song from Annie. Very funny coming from a 3 year old boy!
Then he told the librarian it was almost his birthday.
'Tell her where we will be on your birthday' I told him
'Eureka!' (children's museum about an hour and half away)
'No, somewhere further than that!''
'R****** ?' (village he lives in!)
I had to tell her it was Florida
