In my daughter's car with daughter and grandchildren, grandson, who loves animals, asked us all which our favourite animal was.
From the back of the car I heard GD say 'The only animals I don't like are sloths'
'Aww! Whatever have they done to make you dislike them?' I asked.
'Well one day I was walking in the garden with bare feet and stepped on one'

She had said slugs, not sloths.

I must explain - it's the only slug I've ever photographed! The little blighters had eaten up a whole tray of lettuce seedlings, and I happened to be doing a photography challenge at the time. The topic for that week was "Passion", so it was an easy subject - I hated the little horrors with a passion!
