    Farmer grandson

My 3 year old grandson loves animals. All animals, especially farm animals.
He loves seeing them, reading about them, watching them on TV, and playing with toy animals. He has an extensive farm with many animals and a toy zoo too.
I have lots of farm animals here which he plays with almost every visit.
Last week he said to me 'When I grow up I am going to be a farmer. You can come to see my animals, and feed the chickens!'. I said this was a lovely idea and I was looking forward to it.

Later when my friend was there I told her of GS's plan. She asked if she could come to the farm too, and he said she could. I then pointed out to my friend that we would probably be 95 by then and need pushing round the farm in wheelchairs! She said no, we will be as fit as we are now. Good to have optimistic friends

Good to have a farmer in the family. He will push you around I am sure.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Gem - what a lovely imagination your GS2 has got. Do all his farm animals talk to each other?

I'm sure the trailer will have comfortable arm chairs fitted so you can enjoy your visits even more.

I think it's so lovely when young children can use their imaginations like that. He's such a sweetheart.
