    Please, Santa

At the week-end both GDs were writing their Christmas wish list.

GD2's list was quite lengthy - clearly offering Santa plenty of choice - or setting him an impossible task. We think it was probably the latter - every item on the list had the word "please" after it.

Her birthday's 27 December and I'm sure there won't be anything left for her birthday list, bless her.

Aww what a lovely girl saying Please
Having a Birthday at Christmas time is difficult isn't it ,

My friends DD was born on Boxing day so when she got to about 8 she decided she wanted her birthday in June , she's 30 now and still celebrates in June

My Uncle was born on Christmas day he's always felt cheated and he is 72 even though my Grandmother used to tell him he was special

Im not fat just 6ft too small

You're right, Oma. It's not great timing.

GD2 is going to have her birthday party in January when Christmas is just a distant memory and the children are all back at school. My God-daughter's birthday is 28th December. She's 30 now and says there's no point in even trying to celebrate around her birthday. My MIL's was 31 December and her little complaint was that if she'd been born a day later she would have been a year younger!!

I think Sunshine's GD's birthday is Christmas Eve, so hopefully they start their celebrations a day earlier.

I've always been really pleased that my birthday is in May!!

Santa is always pleased when children say please!

GS1, aged 7 and gaming mad wrote what could only be a tongue in cheek list. It had X box, all the different Play Stations , Nintendos and an i pad. He has no chance of any of these things yet!

I still get lists from my GC, then I can choose what to buy them. Sometimes they get money to go towards a more expensive present. My DD has told all her children not to buy presents for everyone, I certainly don't want them to spend their money on me. DD talked about a Secret Santa but they were not keen.

I hope Santa took note of the politeness and grants all requests!
