Yesterday OH was playing golf, 3 year old GS and I were at the dining room table having lunch. Him chattering on and singing Old McDonald Had a Farm (all par for the course )
I heard the front door open. I usually have it locked but OH hadn't been gone long and I hadn't done it. I thought it was probably OH, rained off.
I looked across and it was SIL and DD3. They were local in their lunch break (no idea why) so called to surprise us.
GS suddenly noticed and in delight shouted 'Daddy and M------- err, Auntie S!!'
He soon realised it wasn't his mum but her sister, then had to work out which sister. Very cute
He didn't mind Daddy leaving, but was very reluctant to see Auntie go. She had to read him a story first
