    A Sparkly Starfish

GD2 is in her first full week at school. She's a chatty, noisy, confident little girl who never sits still.

Her mum and dad talked to her about how she would have to sit still and listen to the teacher at school, and for the last couple of weeks she would suddenly stop what she was doing and 'practise' being still and quiet. She's been taking all this very seriously, and yesterday she came home full of excitement because she was on the Sparkly Starfish list - for sitting quietly!!!

I really think her mum and dad should frame her certificate, because she may not get another one, little lamb!

I remember your other GD getting the sparkly starfish Daisy

Well done to GD2, for doing something which wasn't naturally easy for her

Well done young lady isn’t it nice the sorts of encouragement they get with stickers and such, we were just told to sit on our hands or put you finger over your lips

Thank you all - she is overjoyed!

Qwerty - you're right. We had very little encouragement at school - lots of stick and very few carrots!
