    Josh

Today DD had a phone call from Sunderland FC , they have offered Josh a trial with there youth team
Naturally Josh is over the moon , he has also been scouted by Newcastle too

This is great for him but I'm a bit unsure myself as these clubs drop these kids as quick as they pick them up ,
Josh is aware of this , As they have picked up and dropped a friend 3 times , but I hate the thought of him being upset if that ever happens ,

Its a experience for him and with luck he will do good ,

I suppose I'm just being a anxious Nana , A very proud one but I cant help that

I’m like you Oma I would tend to not build hopes up my neighbour over the road has a son that Leeds United were scouting but they dropped him too, but somebody has to be up and coming why not Josh , David Beckham did it !!!!

Oma congrats to Josh. I know what you mean as we have had the same conversation regarding Joe and his trial for the Harlequins Rugby Academy which is on 14th February. Daddy is convinced he will get in and be a professional player but the rest of us, despite being encouraging to Joe, are trying to get him to curb sons enthusiasm “just in case”.

Oma - Josh is such a sensible lad, I'm sure he will be fine. Sunderland have to remember that Josh could drop them, too!!!

What a fantastic experience he will have , no matter how far he goes.Well Done to Josh.
If only you could see into the future Jean, you could enjoy the whole experience too. But someone's got to do the worrying, and it looks like it's you!

That’s wonderful news Oma, you must all be so excited and if he gets to play for Newcastle I know that OH will be certainly cheering for him as he is a devoted Newcastle United supporter
