Joe has been chosen by a scout to trial for Harlequins Juniors (Rugby)

Joe has been playing rugby for some time now. He is a big strapping lad for his age, very tall and very strong (and may I say very handsome). In February he is going to the Stoop which is Harlequins home ground in Twickenham for a trial to go on their professional junior training programme. We are very proud of him.

My grandfather was head groundsman at the Stoop in “the olden days” before he moved on to Twickenham RFU, again in the olden days. My grandfather died in February 1974.
