My Bargain Buys of the Week.

This week my DD came as usual with little GGD and the difference in a week is amazing, she can now run abet a wee bit wobbly but run she can, getting off that subject now DD asked me to look on ebay for cotton summer dresses for GGD as mum & dad are strapped for cash and she is growing out of all her stuff so I made Friday & Saturday my mission to find some bits and bobs and I was so so fortunate,I got a mixture of dresses from Debenhams Blue Zoo range/Next/and JL all nice and girly colours & styles and very pretty I bought 7 in total and paid just £17.50 including post one parcel arrived this lunch time and they are brand new which wasn't mentioned in the discription I am so pleased with myself this pm.I am going to start on her winter wardrobe asap to help my DGS2 and his partner as DD has said they are finding things expensive

Wow, bargains indeed Glamma! Your help will be most welcome to the young couple I'm sure.

(I love my grandsons to bits, but am still drawn to the lovely girls clothes when I'm out shopping )

Hubby commented that surely a little one doesn't have that many dresses I had to remind him that our DD was bathed and ready for bed when he came home from work and never saw her when she was a miniture muck magnet and had to be changed sometimes 3 times a day, these men are just clueless sometimes.ps Gems I have also ordered some frilly knickers you know the ones that go over nappies I hate seeing little ones with just nappies on or is that just me being fussy.?

You can get some real bargains on ebay , My friends DD is a student and the clothes she buys on there are sometimes designer for a few pounds , she said she wont buy new now as she gets better quality for a fraction of the cost , Shes good with a sewing machine too so can alter bigger sizes she likes to fit herself .
I got a bargain blouse this week reduced in Asda online from £14 to £3 well pleased .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Glamma, when my daughters were babies I often bought dresses which had maching knickers to go over the nappy. A nappy under a dress is definitely an unfinished look in my book

Glam you got a real bargain there.I'm sure some of the dresses would have cost £17 or more new, especially from those shops.

Glam - what good bargains you got. Your GGD is lucky to have such a clever Great-Nan. Depressingly, I think winter clothes are already starting to appear, so I'm sure you will find some lovely things for her.
