New school starters for September 2017

We've just found out at midnight that Ryan has got his place at Keelby school. The same school as Rhys. This makes life easy and more settled for the family.
This year it seems like it's going to be a big class, and some will be disappointed, just hoping Ryans friends get in too. Not all of them live in the village or have siblings here, so could be a bit dicey.
Do all the new starts here today? I hope they all get their first choices.
    Good luck everyone.

That's great news GJ. It must make life so difficult in many ways when siblings go to different schools at primary stage.

GS1 has a place at his school for September as well. As he lives one minute's walk from school, and has been at the pre school since September we were confident he would get a place. Good to have it official though!

      Thats good news grannyjules.
Must be very dissappointing for those who don't get the school of their choice.

A very worrying time for parents, very anxious time.

GD1 has got a place in the junior school! She's a pupil at the infants school, and it's the only school they are in the catchment area for (but on the very outer edge), so we were very relieved she got a place. You'd think it would be automatic, but it's not, and after the experience of GS2 not getting a place in his brother's primary school, at the end of their road, I wasn't taking it for granted. Good to hear that other children have got their first preferences too.
