    Karate grading day

Today is my 7 year old granddaughters first karate grading. He daddy has been doing karate for a couple of years now and risen up through all the belts. GD has been keen to do it too for a while and in the autumn she joined, going twice a week.
We have her baby brother here and are waiting to see if she comes home with her first belt. I hope so!

Gem - I do hope she gets her first belt. Our sons did judo and I remember the excitement of grading days! In those days we usually had to go and get fabric dye to dye the belts ourselves!

Wow! Congratulations to GD. She did very well - grades aren't earned easily.

By the way, Gem - I can't see your Media.

Gem, haha, possibly not, I'll check. I did some tidying up on my profile recently so perhaps I deleted something. 😘
