School spelling bee !

[Libra Gran]

Menna won the school spelling bee challenge for all of year 5 at school and Taren was runner up for year 2, bless her she was very disappointed but struggled with 1 word occassionaly. I said we were very proud of her and Gran gets in a muddle with that one,as I'm sure I have right now. Both girls along with other winners will be treated to bowling with the head and his helpers after half term hols.

Oh well done girls , I'm envious as I am really really bad at any spelling , although at my age I am not as bothered as long as I'm understood , but it would be nice not to have to depend on auto correct . Very clever girls xx

Oma - my spelling is rubbish as well. I just never got the hang of it, and it's no use trying to work out if a word 'looks' right - 6 different versions could look right to me!!!

Well done LG's girls spelling was never fun when I was at school, it was something to dread every morning as we had a short spelling test and times table test before assembly.
I love the fact that pcs come with spell checker , makes life so much easier.
