    Proud Mum Moment.

My youngest son Matthew 36 and his partner have today put in an offer and had it accepted on their very first home. It is a 2 bed ground floor flat in a block of 4. It has a lovely garden, the rest of the cul de sac is bungalows and houses. His hard work running his own window cleaning business has finally started reaping rewards, He started the business approx 3 years ago with a friend. It is very reassuring for us that our youngest will now be settled and instead of paying silly money for rent will own his own home. They have been saving like billy o, and fingers, toes and everything crossed it will all be done and dusted by end of April. They rent a beautiful flat in Alum Chine, but pay the price for that area. For several reasons I won't go into I have always worried over Matt,so to see him getting on in life is a matter of pride.

LG - that is marvellous! I know only to well how hard it is for our children to get on, and stay on the property ladder, especially when you're self-employed. I also know how expensive it is to live in your area, so Matthew and his partner have a lot to be proud of - and so do you. You must be so pleased for him. I do hope and pray it all goes smoothly for him. xx

They must be so excited LG. Here's hoping for a fast, easy transaction.

That is fantastic news , I know how hard it is for the young to afford their own property , they have both done a good job considering they were paying silly money for a rental . Well done boys xxxx
