Tomorrow night OH and I are going to the 30th birthday party of one of her two nieces. This is a surprise party so the niece has no idea.
It is in Chiswick, where they live, so we will travel down tomorrow and stay over in a hotel tomorrow night.
A 30th party doesn't fill me with joy I have to say, but we don't do a lot with OHs family, we are much closer to mine, so when she wants to do something like this, of course we do it.

Went shopping yesterday and shops are full of bling Glam.... it's lovely both DD's bought beautiful sparkly dresses, oh i was envious i would have had one once....oh and the shoes 5inch heels... gorgeous

Gem get your glad rags on and get out there, have a night away from it all and enjoy, Oma's right sometimes those parties/nights out are the least thing you want to do but once your there you have a fab time, hope you both have a lovely time x

A few Southern Comforts helped me enjoy the night

Birthday girl, a model, was lured there by being told she and her 2 friends were meeting their OHs for drinks. As they had been to a publicity thing from their agency, they were beautifully dressed and made up, Therefore even though she didn't know she was having a party she looked good for it! Having said, that I have seen her ill in hospital white as a sheet no make up, and she still looked stunning - some people are just naturally gorgeous

How lovely that the birthday girl was all ready dressed to party. That's the only trouble with surprise parties - if you're not wearing the right thing for it you can't go and change!
