    Martin

OH brother Martin as you all know is donating Bone Marrow he's been on a course of injections to boost his marrow , well tomorrow morning at 10 am they harvest them ,
Poor man has had a rough time these past few days , the side effects are chest pains like a heart attack , joint pains , palpitations, shivers, and generally feeling unwell.
He has gone through the lot he feels very poorly but said he would do it again in a heart beat for OH ,on the plus side it means he's producing marrow . His partners Mam is a paramedic with the air ambulance so been keeping a eye on him . Roll on tomorrow I'm going with him and his partner he wants to see OH first before he goes to the ward to have the procedure

Such a brave man Oma. I know his brother, and you, really appreciate what he is doing.
I'm sorry to hear he is feeling unwell and hope it passes soon. He knows he is doing a good thing, for someone he loves

All best wishes for him tomorrow.

What a lovely brother and a very brave thing to do,but of course he is Brian's brother and probably didn't give it a 2nd thought. Best of luck with the harvesting of the bone marrow, and hope Martin soon feels A1 again.

Oma your BIL is a real hero A very courageous thing to do even though it is for his brother.I didn't realise it was such an ordeal for the donor.

By the way I'm sure I've seen M's MIL on a TV programme about an air ambulance. I thought I'd seen her somewhere and now I know where.

Clover I had that lightbulb moment too when Oma said who M's partner's mum is. He's in good hands there. Bless, he does look out of sorts in the second picture. All for a good cause, as they say. What fantastic brotherly love they have. It warms the cockles.

I'll be thinking of you all tomoro. 🌹

Oma - what a wonderful, generous thing Martin is doing for his brother. Like Clover, I had no idea it could be such an ordeal for the donor. I hope the harvesting goes smoothly tomorrow and Martin soon starts to feel better.

Lots of love to B and to you - your emotions must be all over the place. Blessings to all of you. xxx
