My presentation.

As you all know I retire on October 7th, hoping to sneak out the door with no fuss. Today my boss asked me if I was free next Monday, when I asked why she said they want to do your presentation. I said but I don't actually finish until the 7th, and Monday is the 3rd. Oh says she it's the AGM so nearly everyone will be there (groan) and the chairman wants to make a speech as he is off on his honeymoon cruise on the 4th. So much for sneaking out the back door . On the 14th loads of my colleagues are joining me for a night on the tiles at the Dancing Moose for cocktails and a boogie, now that I am looking forward to.

Presentation went well, I have been thoroughly spoiled. I had 2 gorgeous pandora charms, an orchid, chocs, a voucher for afternoon tea at the Harbour Heights or Sandbanks Hotel, cards both from staff and Owners with cash enclosed. Had to make a short speak, but kept it short and sweet. 2 days this week tomorrow and Friday I go out the back door for the last time. Would have been 19 years in November. My colleague who was asked to arrange the pandora by the boss, was asked if any other charms would do, no way said Nicki, its pandora or nothing, this is Elaine we are talking about lol
