Lol Granma2aj, I can imagine your girls laughing

Once when I was waiting in my car for my mum who had popped into the newsagent, I saw her get into the passenger seat of the car in front. I don't know who was more surprised - mum to look up and see it wasn't me, or the lady driver, waiting for someone else, to see my mum get in

I don't drive , so I never remember who drives which car , I used to get a lift to a bowls match and was sure I would end up in the wrong car one winters night , but so far have managed to peer in a see who is driving lol

Granma - It's easily done. I once tried to sweet talk a parking warden in America to not book me for overstaying on a meter, only to realise that our car was about 6 cars further on. I didn't hang around to find out if she thought it was funny - we ran like mad and drove off!!

I bet your DDs are still giggling, though.

I am in stitches, tears in eyes. Last Friday I walked off with another persons trolley and their self scanner, fortunately I hadn't scanned anything

I took someone else's trolley and didn't realise until we got to the till. OH was emptying the trolley and at first I thought he had added a few extras and then I spotted tins of cat food. It all felt a bit surreal until the penny finally dropped.

I once nipped hubby's bum, only to find out it wasn't hubby.

Oh I've done that...got into the wrong car. Why do our DH's always find it so funny . Also I've found myself wondering why the car won't open then realised it's the wrong one. Hmm, need to go to Specsavers 😎

I love this thread - I'm so glad I'm not the only one!!

Enfys - I can never recognise OH's car, even though it's got a person number plate, and I have to walk up and down zapping the zapper until one lights up!!!

Granmaa2aj - I hope all the GSs got home safely!

I once grabbed a mans hand thinking it was my hubby in Homebase, I don't know who was more embarrased him or me. My hubby has a bad habit of wandering off and I thought he was right beside me.
