Qwerty - I know I've said it before, but you really do deserve a medal - a gold one with glitter on it! Hopefully on the days with all 3 your GD1 will help entertain the twinnies.

I have my regular 2, possibly 3 days a week with both GDs. The GS are here for the week-end of 20 August, but may be here for a week at some other point. GDs aren't going away, and GSs are only away for one week. We also have a friend arriving next Sunday until the following Friday, and GS's birthday party at ours on the Saturday. Please all keep your fingers crossed for good weather!

You're well and truly booked up Qwerty. I'm sure GD1 will help to entertain the little ones.

I have 2 youngest as they have an inset day on the 20th July, then eldest 2 17th and 30th August and thats it. So practically free for 6 weeks hoorah. Qwerty you do indeed deserve a 22ct gold medal, where do you get the energy.

Hopefully your older GD can more or less amuse herself when the little ones are there Qwerty, or even amuse them a bit. I hope so anyway!

I look forward to the school hols as I hate only seeing my 6 year old GD for a couple of hours after school on Wednesdays. I love having her all day.
Ask me again in a few years time, if I have I pre-teen girl and 2 little boys to look after

We are having the 2 boys on Thursdays as usual and been asked if we could do a few extra hours on Tuesday's if an extra work project comes off. I was also reminded that DD & SIL haven't had their Christmas present yet - a weekend away. Some outings to be planned.

We both work full time although husband works shifts and for some reason my work in the last two years has increased in the holidays. We have however agreed we will have Joe and Sadie 24th and 25th August and all three 1st and 2nd September. Joe and Sadie will be in Portugal for three weeks before that and Ben will be in France until late August. Ben's maternal grandparents are both retired so they are available to have him and he is their only grandchild with little, well no, chance of having another so they cherish the time with him greatly.

Husband will probably have them all a couple of times over the holidays for day trips which are planned like a military operation with meet ups and me collecting in car on the way back from town etc.

None of our gs are at school yet so our routine doesn't change - only the things that we do, we try to avoid places that will be crowded.

Avo - we try to avoid the crowds too, but it's difficult where we live. We now know we're having the boys for the week beginning 14 August and we were saying last night it would be nice to take the 4 of them on some days out, but it's really hard finding somewhere that isn't too busy for GS1 but will still entertain the other 3. I think her mum and dad are hoping to start potty training GD2 during the hols, so that could be another complication!
