    Hi Ladies I'm back !!

Hello ladies here I am back from the most tiring holiday that I have ever experienced my poor feet feel as though they have walked none stop for 10days,when you look at the maps of the layout of Las Vegas it fails to tell you that the Hotels are villages within themselves and you need a taxi to sometimes take you from one to another but I survived.
We arrived after a 2 hour delay at Heathrow to what we where told was really freak weather conditions 110-120 during the day so impossible for just a wander and sight seeing even covered up with fac50 sun cream you could feel your skin tingling so we spent a lot of the days under cover and experienced some fantastic restaurants and hospitality and I "window shopped" in Ceasers Palace & The Venicitian John was convinced you had to show a platinum amex caard to get into some of the shops lol.
The day of the wedding went to plan and the bride took centre stage and looking amazing and I must admit that boy of mine looked quite attractive also brought tears to my eyes, the service took place in The LinQ Hotel and I was surprised how nice the surrounding where considering you had to enter via escalaters and lifts to gain access to the actual venue,we where then off to the wedding breakfast in a private room in another Hotel (don't ask me why the venue changed I was warned not to ask the question by DD) all went well and the food was lovely then off to a cocktail lounge for a private 2 hour service of all manner of cocktails (some a wee bit embarrassing by name only).
When everything all over and done we had a session on the gaming tables all dressed in our wedding refinery which drew a crowd of well wishers for the happy couple, then off came the shoes and relief at last for the poor old tootsies.
Even though 11 of us went to LV we did tend to do our own thing and meet up just a few times for meals and get togethers others went to Grand Cannon and Hoover Dam,we went to Old Car Musuem where OH thought he had died and gone to heaven, viewing cars used by JFK/Marilyn Monroe and Mob Members of the 40/50s.
Needless to say I have put on a few lbs after finding the best American Diner ever, which makes the most amazing buttermilk pancakes you have ever tasted and DD & OH enjoyed their T-bones which was like the side of a cow lol.
I have taken lots of pictures but can't load them up on this lap-top will have to wait until my pal sorts my other one for me so I will keep you all updated,I'm off now unpacking and sorting the washing as I had no time yesterday as the Celebration of the wedding took place for all their friends and other family members who couldn't make LV so all in all this wedding has taken over 2 weeks,I feel the need to book another holiday to recharge my batteries. xxxx Glamma

So glad it went well Glam after all the initial worry. Sounds like you had a great time. I must admit when my youngest got married in Venice it was a week long affair and we were worn out by the end of the week and we didn't have the party over here as everyone went to Venice, we got on a BMI plane at Heathrow and knew practically everyone on the flight!!

Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Glamm, Welcome home. I've been wondering how it all went. I'm so glad you enjoyed it, despite your aching feet. What a lot you all packed into the wedding day itself, to say nothing of all the other activities. You probably did well to avoid the Hoover Dam - the day we went it was 123F on the working platform! With everything on such a huge scale you can see why Americans drive everywhere!

Were you pleased with your choice of outfit for the big Day? I'm looking forward to seeing your photos. Two weeks for a wedding sounds about right to me. You can't have too many celebrations in life.

Thanks ladies I'll post the pics as soon as possible we were not allowed to take any of the actual wedding as the bride was not wanting anyone to see her dress until last nights celebration party, she thought we oldies who attended may post them on facebook and spoil the surprise as if any of us would that,it would have been nice for pics of the brides father walking her down the isle and with the actual minister but she forbade that also its such a pity as those moments can never be replaced, but family photo's went well yesterday afternoon the venue had to be changed due to rain but all ended up well in the end.
I will update you about my time in the casino's later in the week when I have more time I must get myself organised for getting back to work on Tuesday.xx

Glamm - how disappointing not being able to take photos at the ceremony. Those moments can't be recreated. I presume there was an official photographer so you will be able to buy some, but not quite the same as catching the moment yourself. Still, I look forward to seeing what you did take. I hope work isn't too much of a culture shock tomorrow and your Area Manager has behaved herself.
