LOL, I know what you mean Qwerty, I was glad I had daughters who were into ballet, I was happy sitting through classes, watching shows, and helping backstage. I doubt I would have been happy on the sidelines of the football pitch. We're not a sporty family (apart from my OH , LOL) so hopefully E won't go down that road
When it is your own GC I'm sure you are proud to support them whatever it is though!
(GD is into ballet and drama. However, she says she likes football and would like to play. It can't be fitted into her busy schedule so far, but who knows one day! )

Well done Josh. I'm just hoping that when my grandsons are old enough they will not be into football because sadly it bores me rigid. I hope that they're into something like sailing or canoeing on rockclimbing or some sort of sport where I can go out into the countryside and enjoy the country without having to watch all the sporting activity. They will think I'm supporting them when in fact all I'm doing is getting some fresh air.

Well done Josh and the others on his team! C is into football, but he's also in the local cricket team and the tennis club at school. In fact anything involving a ball!!! You've just got to put on a brave face and make appropriate noises at the right time!! C's Dad coaches his age group and Mum does all the admin, so it's very much a family affair. This morning she was making bacon sandwiches and drinks for parents, coaches and children as it was their last training session! Managed to get me involved taking the money!!! The parents presented the coaches and DD with lovely presents as a token of appreciation.Believe you can and you're halfway there.

I support him but you would have to drag me kicking and screaming to watch a game , I make the right faces and nod in the right places when he is telling me about it ( you learn how to do that ) I like to hear him play Piano but I hate football I have just learned to be a very enthusiastic looking Nanna where his footy is concerned hahahaIm not fat just 6ft too small
