    New Sheets Advice ??

Hi ladies, recently we bought a new bed and very nice it is too, gives extra storage for us as it has 4 drawers and in a small apartment that is invaluable but what I am finding is that the fitted sheets that I had previously are slipping off the mattress during the night and not staying firm and straight,
The sheets I have are valanced sheets not a separate valance and separate sheet but it looks like I will have to go down that route as the mattress on the bed is a memory foam topped mattress and is very deep (14" ) I really wanted to have the attached valance as it means when changing the valance we would have to lift the mattress and it is so so big and heavy we would have to wait for someone to help us do it,does anyone know of fitted valanced sheets where the depth is more generous

Glamm, I was going to say that I remember people here mentioning Dunelm being good for deeper sheets. Oma has confirmed it

Like the others have said, I think Dunelm is a good place to look

Yes, we have our deeper sheets from there. They have a good choice.

Not sure, but I think John Lewis have deeper sheets too, but don't know about ones with valances attached. We have a memory foam mattress and you can't turn it over - only round (head of bed to bottom of bed) which isn't as heavy as trying to turn it over.

Ours is the same Daisy, memory foam can't be turned over, but we turn it like you do yours every couple of weeks or so.

We got a new bed last October, and ours is a memory foam mattress. I'm not a fan of fitted sheets, I always buy flat sheets, but the shop where I used to get them from only sell fitted ones now. I use Amazon now, as there is always a good selection of flat sheets to choose from.

Gem, more often than not we say the pictures instead of cinema.
