Mimi - your poor DD. She has had a hard time. I do hope she's on the mend now, and I bet you can't wait to give her a big hug and have your first cuddle with Edward. Have you got photos os him? How much did he weigh?

Mimi - poor little man. Both of my DGs had jaundice and at least it's summer and he can get plenty of daylight. When GD2 was born (end December) the HV suggested getting her out in the sunshine!!!!!!
Is your DD still in hospital? It's hard not to worry, but I'm sure they are both being well-looked after. xxx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Mimi, it's hard when things don't go smoothly following a birth, and you just want everyone to be happy. My second daughter had many problems before and after the birth of her first baby. Luckily baby was fine though, and of course so was she in time.
All will be well soon I'm sure and mummy and baby settled at home xx“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Belated congrats from me also,I remember DS1 having to be treated for jaundice he had the lamp treatment for about 3 days and every feed was followed every two hours by the same amount of water to get his kidneys clear it transpired that his little mouth got so used to having a drink every 2 hours that even when the jaundice had cleared he still woke for a drink,he continued to do this until he was about a year old even during the night I can't remember having a good nights sleep with that little man I hope you DD and new baby are home and settled down now. xxxKeep Calm,You're Fabulous
