Congratulations GC! And to the expectant parents too! I'd love another GC but don't think it's likely as DS was talking about getting a dog when we saw him last week!!!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Well we are looking forward to meeting our Twins any day soon. DD2 is going in on Monday morning, if nothing happens before. We get the pleasure of dropping her off, as she is a 45 minute drive from the hospital and it's £30 by taxi. So an early start for us all, she's an hour from us. The things we do for our kids, it'd be cheaper to pay for the taxi, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We are also booked in for taking them home too. She's hoping for a 2/3 day stay if possible. It's going to be surprise, surprise as we don't know what sex they are, and we haven't had any clues as to names. I just hope we like them, or at least get used to them. I'm thinking they may choose something a bit strange , just hoping they're not too off the wall.
I'll let you know any news as I get it. Fingers crossed for a safe delivery.
All will go smoothly I'm sure. Can't wait to find out what they are It's lovely to have an expected birth where everyone hasnt know what sex the baby is for ages!

Daisy, last night we all went out for family meal at DD2s local Italian restaurant where they are well known. Its is a proper Italian, run by an Italian family. I looked across at one point and saw the lady owner smiling broadly and gently patting DDs tummy, they had obviously just told her about the newest family member. I did feel happy and excited

Great news my daughter is expecting and the baby is due on 24th October.
My eldest Grandson John was born on 24th October he will be 24 this month and what a sweetheart he has always been (he had his moments of course) so congrats Nannycuddles it is such a special date we have a Great Grand-Child due in March by DGS2 we don't see as much of them as we would like but they both work long hours so can't expect too much but it gives an excuse to buy little person things for them they are not finding out sex of baby they want a surprise which is nice.
Well so much about keeping the sex of baby a surprise my DGSs fiance changed her mind at the scan and asked to be told and we are expecting a baby girl,so a bit of pink in the family which will be lovely, making 5DGSs and 2DGDs and this expected 1DGD so the girls are catching up (slowly I hope)
