            Thank you everyone

I have not only had several cuddles, I assisted DD in one of those messy meconium nappy changes - it really did need 2 of us! He was then very sick, which went back into his thick hair while we were changing him, so apart from weeing on me, he has deposited everything on Grandma.

They are all so happy, and relaxed to be at home (she had to stay in 4 days postnatally with GD) All the grandparents and both UK aunts have visited today. I will take my mum to meet her great grandson tomorrow.

I hardly slept Oma! I feel zombie like and my eyes feel as though someone has thrown grit in them. Early night tonight!

This is the moment my little angel met her new baby brother

Her expression says it all. She was so excited in the car on the way there!

Gem, he really is gorgeous, and so kind to share so many baby "delights" with you on his very first day. GD looks excited enough to fly. I hope you all get a good night's sleep tonight.

I had a brilliant nights sleep thanks Daisy Baby T fed most of the night, but mummy dozed through it all.

                        Thanks Aggie.
I saw him again today. The midwife came while I was there, and said he is a little jaundiced, but nothing to worry about. He's feeding well, and is very lovely

Gem - he's more than lovely! He really does look so cute and doesn't have that 'just born squashed look' which a lot of new babies have. At least the days are lengthening and it will be easy to get him out in the sunlight. My GD2 was very jaundiced and her Mum was told to give her as much natural light as possible - not easy for a late December baby!

I'm glad your DD is getting some rest.

Has your GS1 met him yet?

GS1 met him yesterday. Apparantly no intentions of taking him home LOL. He had a look, stroked his hair, then raced off to play with GD

Hehehe - typical little boy. They'll have lots of fun when GS2 is a bit older though.

btw - if I remember rightly, wasn't 6 April your predicted date for GS2's arrival? If so, clever Granny.

Daisy, yes, I'm sure the 2 boys will have lots of fun together, with big sister/cousin overseeing them

Indeed, April 6th was my predicted date I was out with the weight, but in the right pound bracket!
