    Yes Daisy. FaceTime and Skype are all very well but there is no substitute for a proper hold and a nice cuddle. So it is a bitter/sweet experience.

          Yes we would love to go but cannot do anything whilst our ancient dog is still around. No one else would cope with him and he cannot leave the kitchen unless to pop to the garden and then straight back to bed. Also I think they need the first few month to themeselves rather than people depending on them even though we plan to stay in a hotel nearby and not in their home. Perhaps it might be nice to go just after Christmas when it is cold here and warm there. But all depends on Indie the Italian Greyhound, he may not have too long so he needs lots of care right now.
