    A new grandson!

DD3 finally gave birth to a baby boy at 3.23 this afternoon. Weighing 7pounds 13 ounces.
Beautiful of course Both are fine, baby has had his first feed, but DD lost quite lot of blood and they prefer to keep them in overnight for observation.

We will all sleep better tonight!

Gem, many, many congratulations to your DD3, SIL and all of you. He took his time arriving, but I bet all that is forgotten now he's in her arms and feeding as well. I'm sure she's very tired and they will want to keep an eye on her for a while.

I'm so happy for all of you.

My DD3 isn't much into social media. I have no idea whether or not I will be able to share this baby's photos on there as I can with my other 3 GC.
I'm pretty sure she will be fine with his photos here, but to be on the safe side I will post in YEO.

That's a lovely name, Gem. The two names go well together as well. x
