    Happy News

We are expecting another baby in our family!

DD3 is about seven to eight weeks pregnant with her first baby, so it's still very early days.
They seem to be delighted and scared in equal amounts! They both love children and SIL is a great favourite with my GC, he will make great dad.

I am very happy, although a bit nervous about the prospect of looking after a 2 year old at 70!!
DD's 1 and 2 are so happy and excited, and will both be a good support now their children are older, so it won't be only me as family help.

So, all being well I should be a Grandma to four in July

Gem, that has really put a smile on my face. I know it's early days, but you must be so excited, and I'm sure the whole family will be waiting for July.

I was 70 when our GD2 was born and looked after her several days a week, so I'm sure you will be absolutely fine.

How is DD3, is she having any morning sickness? Wishing her good health throughout her pregnancy

                    Thank you everyone

She is feeling a bit sick Mimi, and not being able to face quite a few foods. Not been sick so far though.
I hope she will be like her sisters and grandmother and not like me!
I was severely sick all day for 14 weeks with my first and third pregnancies, but not so bad with number two.

Poor DD sickness is awful , I was fine with my first but second one I was sick all the way through .
Im sure although it’s awful she will be so excited and once it passes will forget how sick she felt .

our Martin and Clare are due 1st June . So very close together we will be holding new babies , you more than us though 😁🤱🏻🤱🏻🤱🏻

Gem, hopefully DD3 will escape full-on sickness. I felt a bit icky with both mine, but was never actually sick, but even that soon passed. I hope that's how it goes for your DD. The worst thing was going off tea and coffee and a few foods.

                        Oma - how is Clare?

That’s splendid news! So happy for all of you. As for being 70 my youngest grandson was born when I was 73. Looking after little ones is what keeps us on our toes, or at least running up and down the stairs.

Sum1 - that is so true about keeping us on our toes, and certainly running up and down stairs, crawling around the floor playing games, to say nothing of lots of cuddles (the best bit!)

Oma - that's good news. I'm so pleased for them. xx
