Well here goes, you asked for it. Baby E was here today, he is much more aware of things around him and waves his hands around, he is just gorgeous. My DD and SIL are besotted with him. He was 5. 11 born and he is 4 weeks old and nearly 9 lbs. His parents are very relaxed and although short of sleep they are coping very well. I didn't hold him today he was a bit fractious between feeds.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
We were laughing about this yesterday about becoming GGP, At first we were saying it will be many years, but in reality if (GOD FORBID) J took after me we could be in about 4 years ,J would be 17 by then. I was a mother shortly before my 17th
Plant baby is thriving isn't he
Nanto we could never tire of hearing about babies
Well we had a lovely surprise this morning my DD has just rang to say she is walking down later with GGD as her DS2 has just dropped Sofia off for the day while he goes clothes shopping for himself,he is such a thoughtful boy and knows how much we love to look after her and spoil her a wee bit,so we will walk her down to the promenade at New Brighton and enjoy the scenary across the River on the way back we will drop in at the swings what a lovely surprise.
Gems little one has gone home now with her daddy who came to my house to collect her,she started walking properly 2 weeks ago and my back is breaking as she insisted on walking everywhere and holding my hand,I forgot how much hard work they are at that age but she is so so pleasent no grumps at all and her little face lit up when she saw her Grandpa and Poppy she is so fond of him and always goes to him with no bother so DD and I had a lovely afternoon finished off with an ice cream sitting next to the Bandstand over looking The Mersey to Liverpool, its a feet up job now I think and enjoy the TV for a while with a glass of well deserved vino.
