    Sofia Baptised To-day

My lovely little GGranddaughter Sofia was Baptised this afternoon and after all the trauma with the Step-mother telling DD we would not be welcome everything turned out very well indeed, the dreaded Step-mother decided that she was not attending as we would not back down and sit at the back of the Church so any confrontation was solved thank goodness.
All my Grandsons and Granddaughter had pride of place in the front row along with their mum and their Grandpa and I,we had a beautiful service with a very family oriented Priest who included all the little ones,we left after a couple of hours and now look forward to some nice pictures which I shall post once I get them from DD & Grandson no 2 (the daddy)

Glamm - that's wonderful! I'm so pleased for you that something which should be a happy family occasion really was exactly that. If the dreaded Step-mother's heart had been in the right place you wouldn't have had any of that earlier upset about who sits where. How lovely that the priest included all the little ones in the service, making it a real family celebration. I bet little Sofia was as good as gold, too. xx

Oh yes and whilst I am ranting about batteries I may as well let off steam about not getting any photos from GS1s wedding in Las Vegas in JUNE !!!, they are away at present on a late Honeymoon in Rhodes for 10 days so may just give a gentle reminder when they come back.
