    Good morning ladies.

Nan2 you are looking very nice and busy in your laundry

It's good news that both Oma and Daisy's OH are sounding better than they were. Upwards and onwards.

WG I have been to Lanzarote and Tenerife. The canaries are perfect for some winter sun, good for you for booking.

Watching the world go by from a cafe is a nice way to spend a bit of time Plant.

We did go to our friends for a meal last night, and very nice it was- plus no cooking or clearing up!

Library this morning. This afternoon I am going to DD1's to sit with GS1 whilst DD goes to a meeting for SEN parents. He usually comes here but I'm happy to go there for a change.

      Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I never look that cheerful when I'm doing the washing! I love the sound of a home-made ready meal. I'm sure yours will be delicious.

Gem, a busy day for you with the library and then going to DD1's. Do you find yourself doing odd jobs around your DDs' houses when you go there? I hope the SEN meeting is useful for your DD and GS.

Plant, I hope you are ok today after being sick the other night.

Oma, are you still feeling better? How is B?

I had an early start with an appointment at the surgery for my annual MOT. I seem to have passed! It's damp and chilly out there though. We didn't have a great night last night. OH was coughing for hours. It seems to be one step forwards and two back at the moment.

I've got some washing and ironing to do - I'll see how it goes! Otherwise nothing much to get excited about.

I hope the meeting is a positive one and something can be suggested for GSs return to school ,
        It's such a worry for you .
He needs education but how is another matter

        Nanto
That graphic seems to be me all the time , washing is never ending
B likes Corned beef hash , I'm not a lover,
I like it in pies though.

        Daisy
I'm pleased you passed your MOT 😁
Poor J we are the same in this house it's a competition who can cough the loudest and longest.

We both feeling a bit better today apart from lack of sleep,
We did manage a trip to Morrisons,
Felt a bit wobbly but it was ok.

I got up. With a black tongue this morning, I rang the Drs he said it can be caused by antibiotics and should go on its own, it looks like I have been eating liquorice.

I'm convinced we have the black death now 🀣🀣🀣

Oma, are you turning into a giraffe?? I hear they have black tongues

I'm glad you passed your personal MOT Daisy, but sorry about the bad night

I do do some tidying up jobs at all DD's houses from time to time. Washing up, hanging out and bringing in washing, a bit of tidying, things like that.
Today GS1 has wanted my attention all the time so I have mostly sat with him. He has popped to the loo. He obviously needs company of his own age group.
I was busy at the library this morning and the time went quickly.

Reporting in late today, I had a visit from H as I was about to but she takes over the I pad, she likes garage band. No news here.

Daisy well done for passing your MOT. I hope your OH is continuing to improve.

Oma, I hope you and B will feel some improvement soon. Shame you were unable to see GS.

Gemini, I hope your DD1’s meeting I hope some useful suggestions were made to get him some education. Not sure about the black tongue.

I agree GS1 need more company his own age , he maybe is spending too much time with Mum but it's not going to resolve till they can get him back to school.
I hope the meeting went well.

I have had a parcel for my neighbour for two weeks while she was in hospital, her parents didn't come for it and she came home on Saturday and hasn't knocked for it .

I put a note through her door this morning telling her I had put it over her back gate,
I took a picture of my note and the parcel over her locked gate , just to cover my own back incase she claims she hasn't got it.

I don't know if I told you my Great niece is having her first baby at 32 , she's my Brothers GD,
She sent me a photo of her baby bump , a little boy , she looks radiant .
They didn't think it was going to happen ,
We are so happy for them 😊

                Good evening ladies.

Oma, congratulations to your niece and family. Never say never.
Hope you neighbour got her parcel ok.

It was a lovely wash day today. They had a good blow out on the line.

Pies were made this morning. The rest of the filling was portioned up for other meals.

Gem, we have been to Lanzarote, but out of all the Canary islands we've been to, i think Tenerife is our favourite.

Oma, I've never heard of a tongue turning black before. So I Googled it, and guess what - it can look hairy as well. I'm so sorry, I can hardly type for laughing - only you could be proper poorly and then add a black (and possibly hairy) tongue to your woes. I can't imagine what B is saying about it. Seriously, though, it seems to be one of those relatively harmless tricks our bodies can play on us from time to time. I hope it's soon back to normal.

What lovely news about your Great Niece, and I'm just thinking how pleased and proud your brother would have been. Sending love and hugs. xx

I bet your neighbour has totally forgotten about that parcel.

Nanto, it's amazing you can dry washing outside at this time of year. How lovely. Are the pies in the freezer now?

Plant, isn't it amazing how even very young children take to computers etc like ducks to water!

Gem, yes, I'm sure GS1 needs the company of other youngsters. It's very difficult. Was the recent meeting at the school useful?

I did a wonderful job of task avoidance today! You can probably guess it was the stack of ironing I was avoiding.

So it became really urgent to clean out the recycling bin in the utility room. I had done the actual boxes but the outer container looked grubby. Then, I just happened to remember that I needed to clean and dry the camping fridge-freezer which I hadn't done after Christmas. Then I hoovered the living room, lifting the rugs to hoover under there as well. I also cleaned out the wood burner. Then I thought how long it was since I'd treated OH's wood turning bowls, candle holders etc with Wood Silk. So I did that as well. Then, surprise, surprise it was time to get dinner. After dinner and clearing up it was threatening rain, so time to take Eva out before it got too wet. We got back about 4.30, fairly wet. So by the time I'd sorted everything out it was time to feed Eva, then time to get us some tea ready.

Such a pity, I didn't have time to do the ironing!

Yes I read about the hairy tongue , thankfully I haven't got that,
I do brush my tongue everyday so maybe that's helped .
My sister reminded me she had the same thing a few years ago when she was on the same antibiotics, I had forgotten about it.

My neighbour knew the parcel was here as there was a card through the door and I left a note in her door for her parents to see when they came for her clothes to take into hospital,

I think she may have been a bit too embarrassed to knock after what went on.

Oma, antibiotics can have some odd side effects. Have you nearly finished the course now? Yes, perhaps your neighbour didn't like to come and knock on your door. If she remembers what happens when she has episodes it must be awful for her. Let's hope she will be ok.

                        Good morning.

Oma, you sound a bit better.

Daisy, yes the pies are in the freezer.

We are having fish today, cod in breadcrumbs, curtesy of Captain Bird's-eye.

I've got my annual review at the clinic this afternoon.
                        Other than that, no plans.

Bin day today. Our bin emptying has all gone to cock.lt should be the grey bin today, but they might empty the blue one.

Just seen the weather forecast, apparently its going to turn colder.

                          Good morning everyone.

                          Na2, love the daffodils.
I think we will have fish in breadcrumbs as well

Goodness, you were on a roll yesterday Daisy with all that ironing avoidance!

Congratulation on the expected new baby in the family Oma.

It must be lovely to see so much of little H, Plant. You can excuse her taking over the ipad

Aquafit this morning. This afternoon I am going to Vue to see a streaming of Macbeth from the Donmar Warehouse. It stars David Tennant and Cush Jumbo. Today I am looking forward to is less than when I booked it a few weeks ago. Hopefully I will enjoy it!

                            Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto - lovely daffodils. They're such a welcome sight in Spring, aren't they. I hope your review goes well. Are bin collections still out of synch from Christmas and New Year? They can get very confusing.

Gem, enjoy your aquafit. You must have thought the streaming looked good when you booked it, so hopefully it will deliver. There's plenty of drama to enjoy in Macbeth, so hopefully the production will make the most of it.

No plans for me today. OH had a better night so I'm keeping my fingers crossed he's over the worst of this lurgy.

We have been lucky with our bins this year the collections haven't been changed .

I like David Tennant I think he will be good in Macbeth,

Are you going to try and avoid the ironing today like yesterday😁.

B says the steroids are kicking in and he feels better , but as expected he's wide awake with them.
I'm ok still coughing and tired but so much better than I was.

We went to B&M this morning, I spent a fortune as usual , I went for Dettol anti bac sprays and ended up with a boat load of cleaning stuff and toiletries,
I thought I may as well while I was there.
B kept saying haven't you already got two of them in the cupboard or do you really need that.
Needless to say he was ignored.
He was right to be fair but I'm stocked up now for awhile πŸ˜ƒ

We then went next door to Lidl got a few things then I was too tired to go anywhere else.

                              .
It's a lovely bright day , I wanted to get my pots cleaned down and brought to the front of the patio but I can't be bothered so I will leave it for another day,
Shame to waste the sunshine but needs must so they say.
