Good Tuesday morning, everyone. Another late start for us today, but the sun's shining and I'll get on with the gardening later.

Nanto, thank you for the graphic - it must feel extra chilly after your holiday in the sun. A good, warming comfort meal is just what you need. xx

Gem, the kittens seem to be settling in well, and it must be lovely to watch them playing together. I remember spending ages watching Rusty and Clyde when they were puppies chasing each other round the house and garden, playing with them and grooming them to get them used to being handled by humans. Take lots of photos and videos.

Oma, I hope the jab goes ok. See you later.

Welcome back Nanto, I kept the graphics going while you were gone 😁

      Gem
I bet those kittens give hours of entertainment , is S less unsure now that they are home?
I bet the GC can’t wait to play with them 😁

Dont do too much gardening you need a rest,
ours is full of leaves and much more to come down it’s a never ending job clearing them.
Mind you for some reason my Daisys are shooting up, much better show than in the summer.

Well we had our COVID Jabs , mine actually hurt,
There was 3 other Jeans infront of me we all had a giggle when the nurse called all our names.

I then went to the Dentist and sat by another Jean, when the dental nurse came out and called my name we both stood up 😁
Never seen so many with the same name in one day.
We we’re all of a similar age too.

Dentist couldn’t save my tooth so we decided on a denture,
Said I could get a crown but it wasn’t guaranteed, so she took X-rays and impression and I have to go back on 28th November to have this one out and denture put in .

That little lot is costing me £319 for one little tooth 🙄
I could just have a gap but it’s not attractive and I’m conscious of it all the time.

why is everything so expensive as you get older and bits go wrong and in my tooth’s case drop off 🙄😱🤣

Late morning from me. Just queued outside our local Chemist, an appt to get my flu jab and then the Pharmacist announced he had run out of flu vaccine. !!! So I left. Hairdresser expected soon, I will phone the chemists after she has gone to see if more vaccine has arrived. What a carry on! I might try and change my Covid vaccine to a place I normally go to which is a large Sports and Social centre and the queue is undercover.

Gemini, sounds like fun in your house. I am sure the GC will love to play with the kittens. Watch out for sharp claws and teeth.

Daisy, I could so with a surge of energy.

Oma, what a shame about your tooth, I hope it can be crowned. Dental work is so expensive, although I am a NHS patient I only get inspections cheaper. I know 3 Jeans.

Getting a false tooth Plant , they couldn’t guarantee a crown would hold.

What a carry on with the flu jab,
Ours was week before last at our Drs, same with our COVID jab this morning, like a production line ,
a sign was was up saying remove your coat ready to make things quicker.

Plant so far luckily they are practicing their biting skills on each other GS1 enjoyed spending time with them this afternoon.
Change your jab to a venue which suits you.

Is it a front tooth Oma? I have gaps I am self conscious of (closed mouth smiles on photos now!) If it was at the front I would have something done.

Daisy, I am taking lots of photos and have taken a couple of videos so far.

It’s the tooth next to my front tooth Gem so very obvious,
I have gaps but you can’t see them but this is front and centre so to speak 😁

I don't blame you Oma. My auntie had to get one for her broken front tooth.

Been for pre-op assessment. Very thorough and lovely staff. Even managed to get a blood sample first go. Quite an achievement with my non obliging veins!
GS took me and I was impressed with his driving even though my foot went on the brake a few times! He said I was better than his mum who held on to the seat!
We stopped at the big service area near us for something to eat! What a choice of food outlets. There’s even a Wetherspoon there. Anyway we ended up with a Chinese and it was very tasty.
I have been asleep on the couch under my heated blanket for most of the afternoon.
Plant, my heart has been in my mouth a couple of times seeing your GS on the roof of his home office, but I’m pleased he managed to get the roof on before the bad weather!
Welcome back those who’ve been away. Take care those who’re not feeling great and enjoy the kittens Gem!
Enjoy the rest of the day xx

Flu jab done, Covid next week.

WG pleased the assessment went well, how nice to be taken by GS. My GS is and was a devil for climbing, he used to take part (can’t remember what it is called) running and jumping over buildings, he also is mad on a bike.

Hallo everyone, a quick read, Plant, what a carry on for your flu jab!

Oma, poor you with your tooth, I am pleased we are insured. I have an appointment soon I think,

I have been to Rotterdam with a friend, to this museum. https://www.boijmans.nl/en/depot. I am not a museum person but the building is fantastic inside and out! We then went to another museum, a house with all the furniture etc from the 1930,s. It belonged to a rich family with servants etc and the family later donated it to the city, very nice to look round, they had 3 bathrooms, that for the 1930,s! We walked back to the town and went to a Surinamese restaurant for lunch, delicious! My friend went back to view another museum or 2 and I carried on into town to meet GD1, she came straight from college on the metro. We had a look at bags in a few shops, but, I think she knew beforehand what she wanted as we ended up at another store and she went straight to them!! One pleased GD. She had something to eat and drink then we returned to the metro, I have done almost 20,000 steps! It was very busy in Rotterdam, lovely and sunny as well.

This is the bag she chose, it can be folded up flat when not in use, I doubt if that will ever happen though.

It feel strange when your GS’s drive you around 😁
Pleased your Pre op went well and you enjoyed a Chinese,
I have been looking at those heated blankets for MIL but I know she wouldn’t use it,
I thought it would keep her warm when she’s sitting around, when I suggested one she just pulled a face so I knew that was a no🙄😁

                        Plant
How is the road surfacing going?
I think that jumping is called Parkour jumping , I watched a programme about it ,
                        Very scary I thought.

                        Lizzie
These girls know what they want don’t they😁
I confess I had to google Surinamese restaurant, I’ve never heard of it before,
                        It sounds lovely.

                        Gem
Are the kittens asleep now 😁. Sent the photo to my DD it was all “oh I need more cats “🤣🤣🤣

                        Daisy
Did you get the gardening done?

                        Nanto
Are you all unpacked and sorted now,

My arm is a bit sore after my jab but not as bad as the last one,

WeeGranny, I'm pleased your pre-op assessment went well. It's one weight off y our mind, isn't it. I find it quite strange being driven by my GS1. I've only been in his car a couple of times and he's a good, attentive driver, but a little bit too fast - and I don't know the roads around them very well which doesn't help. I've never driven withGS2. He barely uses his car except for work, and prefers to walk if he's going anywhere fairly local. Still, it helps to keep him fit.

Lizzie, what a busy and interesting day you've had, but 20,000 steps, your feet must be aching! The bag looks very nice and it's sure to be well-used.

Oma, what a pity about your tooth, but you're right, when it's at the front you don't want a gap.

Gem, I don't know anything about cats, but puppies will practise biting on each other and learn bite-inhibit, so they can play nicely together without hurting each other. I remember R & C emitting ear-splitting yelps when one of them bit a bit too hard. They soon learned. If kittens learn the same way it won't take them long to work how to inhibit their bite so the other one doesn't scream at them. How lovely that GS1 enjoyed playing with them. I look forward to see the photos and videos. I saw you had some on FB, but for some reason my FB keeps dropping out. Two or three minutes and it just goes off and I can't get back to what I was seeing.

Nanto, the gardening was cancelled today! Not long after I posted it started to pour with rain - but the sun was still shining, and it's been like that for most of the day. Had your lawn grown a lot while you were away?

                            Good morning.
Thanks for taking care of the graphics Oma.

                            Everything unpacked and away.

Hope today is as nice as yesterday. Want to get some more washing out.

Weather yesterday was better than some of the days during summer.

Gem love the kittens. They look so cute.

WG, glad your pre op assessment went well.

Lizzie, sounds like you had a busy but enjoyable day yesterday.
                            I like the handbag.

I think we will have jacket potatoes with tuna mayo and cheese today.

Good morning. it wasn't my feet aching Daisy, more the knee's and legs, I did it though. I was pleased I had my bike at the station to save me walking home.

It is foggy at the moment, good weather forecast later on.

It is my eldest nephew's 60th birthday today, I can remember him being born as though it was yesterday.

I hope the kittens are settling in Gem.

I have circuit training later if my legs allow. No further plans really.
