Had a lovely meal at the Papermill, not fancy but my fish and chips was better than some I had at one of our local pubs and much cheaper. My car has decided to have a sulk and will not start (probably the battery). The RAC are coming on Friday to sort it out so I am having to cadge lifts. Board games this afternoon.

Grauntie, my borders are certainly not up to Monty Don’s. Did I read somewhere that he was unwell?

Lizzie, I am sure your neighbour will be pleased with a nice warm coat, you are a generous lady and very caring.

Daisy, I am sure that spare food will be used. That is a long journey for your niece after a days work.

Oma, I can’t help but feel sorry for your neighbour but a real worry for you. Amazing how many services turned out. Would she really attack someone?

Its been a bit of a morning here.
20 past nine the power went off. We waited ½ an hour,and by that time we were gasping for a cuppa, hadn't had one for a couple of hours.
Hubby took the cups with t-bags in to our neighbour accross the road, and she mashed our tea.
10 minutes after the power went off, the shopping arrived. I'd bought some ice creams,so i quickly got them in the kitchen freezer.
Power was restored at 11.40. Apparently,it was a fuse that had blown,and it affected 36 properties.

Plant,there are such variations with fish and chips. Glad yours weren't too bad.

Yes she is capable of attacking someone when her mind is in that state, she's very aggressive.
Doesn't remember any of it when she is well though.

My car passed the MOT thanks Oma.
My friend drove me home and as we two were the only ones staying we for coffee we had coffee at ours.

Car is back now and I'm legal again! My MOT ran out a couple of weeks ago

I feel quite 'coldy'. I'm hoping it's nothing. I have oldest and youngest GS's tomorrow.

Our niece arrived just after 8 o'clock. She's lovely and always full of beans. We sat talking for ages after dinner, so only just off to bed.

We'll have to leave about 9.30 tomorrow for the funeral, and I need to walk Eva before we go, so I may not get a chance to come online in the morning.

Little E day today, and GS1 is also coming today, so he can spend some time with his little cousin. Little E will be very happy
No golf for OH so we may have taken little E out, but it's not so easy with a 12 year old in tow, who generally doesn't want to go out much! It's very cold anyway, so we are probably better staying in.

A lovely sunrise this morning but very hard frost again , it looks like crystals shining on the road .

Two lots of washing done and dried,
Having a cup of tea then I will take my sharps box to the Drs to be disposed of,
then onto MILs with her food and see what mood she's in.

Another swimsuit has just arrived from Lands End. OH thinks I have far too many swimsuits already

MIL wasn't too bad , a few moans , I offered to wash her floor as she said it was dirty but she wouldn't let me.
I put her washing upstairs on her bed so she can sort it herself,
B had made her bed and put the bin out
Then we went to Morrisons as she had forgotten to get milk and needed kettle discaler.

We bought a festival gateau it's a sponge with custard and cream covered in a green marzipan paste,
B &DD love it , I can't stand marzipan, so after lunch we went to Iceland and I dropped half in for DD ,
She was out walking the dog so I left a note on her laptop saying look in the fridge 😁

I got a text with her sitting at her desk eating it 🤣

How many swimsuits have you Gem??

I was just annoyed, I ordered something from Zalando, usually I go to the depot in the village to pick a parcel up, with not being well I chose delivery, well, they delivered but not to me. The robot told me to try all the houses in the street, all 60+ of them!!!! I got in touch with Zalando, she couldn't have been nicer, I have just received a mail that they are looking into it as it happens far too often.

I have just rinsed my nose etc out with salty water, I do think the sinus's are clearer, a friend is doing the coffee for me tomorrow, she offered to do it, she is at the art class so it is handy enough.

I was talking to a lady I know, she has Parkinson disease, she used to take part in triathlon etc etc, always running etc etc. About 10 years ago she got diagnosed, she said it is getting worse now, she has just turned 70. She goes to special boxing classes 4 times a week for Parkinson patients, I know a few people that go. The young man from our training group goes, he is 63 and has a more deteriorating version of Parkinson. I am cheerful today!!!! The friend was telling me she usually manages to talk in a morning but by the afternoon she can't manage it anymore.

Lizzie, I have a lot of swimsuits!!

One of my Aqua friends is 80 and has Parkinson's. She goes to classes twice a week as I do and is doing well. She doesn't play golf much any more, but sometimes rides her bike to the pool.
She is more tired as the day goes on and prefers not to do much in the evening.
