Enfys I do hope it isnt shingles , but then again if its not they have to find out what is causing it ,
Sometimes you have to put your own health first dont you .

Bet it was a lovely surprise your friend turning up ,

We are meeting our friends for coffee on Sunday Morning at our local garden centre ,
First time we have met since Christmas day ,
I am so looking forward to it and I am hoping it takes my mind off my Brother for a little while , It will be 1 year since we lost him to Covid on Sunday .

Everyone is so busy it must be the nice weather that has inspired us I think,.
I've finally finished dpainting the doors just got the inside of bedroom door to do but that can wait until I have the wallpaper changed its not as anyone goes in there except me.

Did I mention that I was having trouble with my new glasses that I got in December ? My eyes seem rather blurred when reading and using my PC I feel as though I need to keep blinking to clear my eyes so have made another appointment for an eye test this is the second time I have been back since I had my cataracts done the year before.

My son called in yesterday with Willow and her job on Thursdays is to go down the bottom of the garden to feed the birds with their peanuts its the first thing she wants to do but diaster hit yesterday when she tripped up on the path and scrapped all her knees poor little thing was so upset and really sobbed you know one of those sobs right from chest,she was carried in doors and a major operation took place out came the disney plasters from daddys back pack (he carry's everything none to man in his backpack) after cleaning we had to look really hard to see the damage !! and she limped about for 1/2 hr until Oliver came into the garden and she RAN to pick him up, drama over.

I was shocked to hear that Les McKewan from Bay City Rollers had dies suddenly and so young my DD had me up one night sewing tartan onto her jeans when they where popular with the young girl fans I can remember the records being played every night after school it drove me to distraction.

It's very sunny and warm here to-day I hope it keeps up for the week-end and hopefully have a little out door lunch on Sunday hopefully with 2 x GGCs I haven't had a garden visit from them in such a long time just got to confirm with DD & see if it is possible,

Off now to bring in washing and rehang some bedding and possibly think about doing a wee bit of ironing or not

I am shattered and looking forward to my G&T. Been shopping with GD1 to find something for her to wear at her GM's funeral on Monday, we found something in M&S and then we went to JL to find some clothes for baby H, she will very soon be into the next size. I bought some and then GD bought some. The traffic was horrendous, so there wasn't time to drop me home before she had to pick OH up from work so we both had to go to Waitrose and waste some time. Two very large Grammar schools were turning out so that made the traffic even worse. We seem to have road works everywhere at the moment. They had to then drop me before they went off to pick up H from partners mother's house. GD has just phoned to ask if I had her glasses, why would I have her glasses! Why she doesn't have a handbag I do not know. The last time I saw her glasses they were hanging out her back pocket and I warned her she might loose them. I had her purse in my handbag, no room for glasses! Bye, G&T time.

Nanto I never go anywhere without my bag either , the stuff I have in there makes it a ton weight , B asks if I need all that junk and I do

Done all my housework not much else to do just pottering see what the day brings .

Oooo a trip to the coast, I really envy you Gemini, living within reach of the coast. Have a lovely time.

Oma, I think trudging around M&S and JL tired me out. GD2 and her partner have arrived for the funeral, she is such a joy to have around. I slept very well, thank-you Oma.

Beautiful morning here, no wind, birds are very vocal, no plans, need to do some gardening.

Good morning from me, everyone. It's bright and sunny, but there's a chill to the wind still.

It's a flying visit as both DSs, DILs are coming for lunch for DS2's birthday. So I need to get my skates on. I did most of the cooking yesterday but need to make salads etc and clean garden table and chairs as the local bird population seem to think they are their public conveniences!

I'll read back on posts when things have quietened down here!

It's just over 40 miles Plant, and takes about an hour, maybe a bit more, depending on the traffic and which part of the east Yorkshire coast we aim for. Very doable for day or part of a day though

Good morning ladies and what a beautiful morning it is today not a cloud in the sky and the temp is quite mild,I am off with DD this morning to Farmers Market for some goodies there is a lady who makes the most delicious curried scotch eggs and lamb and mint small individual pies,looking forward to one for my evening meal with a fresh salad.

I am having a wwkend off decorating just got a few small jobs to do but they can wait until next week I feel I have done enough for now.

Plant isn't it wonderful shopping for little ones how quickly they grow I saw so many reductions in the childrens section on the Debenhams site I have ordered some bits and bobs for GGCs for their C-------s boxes I found some great savings on winter coats but didn't order as you can not be sure what size they will wanting by that time.

How can anyone manage without their bag to hand I would be lost I'm always changing my glasses when out so I really need my bag with me I have all sorts in it ( just in case )

DD has arrived now so off for the morning may drop in later.

How daft am I ? I forgot to press post when I first wrote this morning and went off to answer the door,we are back now after getting our goodies from FM , a lovely pair of kippers from the fish man will go down well for breakfast tomorrow morning.
