If you had gone with B could you have gone in with him? In York the patient must go alone. Even auntie at almost 92 has to be left at the front doors by her DS and get to her eye appointment alone. And York is a big hospital. My mum's appointment is at a different one, so I don't know if I can go in with her (they will get no sense out of her otherwise though, as she wont hear anything they say!)

As its the Cancer clinic Gem 1 person is allowed in with them but as its only a follow up i dont need to go , I think the less people in clinic the better if you dont need to be there ,
If he was getting results or anything like that i would have gone but its routine , if it wasnt for having to have bloods i think they would have done it over the phone to be honest .

I think in situations like your Mum you have to be with her its silly expecting a elderly deaf lady to be able to cope alone isnt it .

I could feel a 'black' mood creeping upon me yesterday evening and I lay in bed most of the night fretting about things I have no control over and the sensible part of me asks why do it but the anxious part takes over and rules my nights sleep.

Clover, the severe lockdown in Wales must be so cruel. I was talking to my SIL in North Wales yesterday. They live half way up a remote mountain with only one neighbour and she said she is dreading the winter when she can’t even get out in their garden.

Post Halloween party clear up here today! I will be leaving the decorations up, and putting the pumpkin lantern and witches hat outside on Saturday for the Pumpkin Trail around the village.
I am meeting DD3 for lunch today. As we are both in Tier 2 is has to be outside. Hopefully in a covered area outside one of the local cafes.
I also need to try to make sense of the photo situation on GRU, and finish writing up the minutes which I started the other day.

Did dark wash got that dried and just ironed it all , sorted out my housework ,
then i have made Chicken and rice for Storms lunch.

Waiting for Asda he usually delivers spot on 8 but no sign yet ,
DD dropping Storm off later for the day ,

B has cleared the leaves in the garden so i can see if Storm does a toilet anywhere , now he is shredding old documents im already sick of hearing the shredder ,
