Its rained all night and still raining although it is light in parts a bit breezy though ,

Had my shower and put washing in (AGAIN) im sure the washing fairys fill the basket up when I turn my back .

Dog is snoring I mean actually snoring , hes the laziest dog around I had to hoover around him as he wouldn't wake up
B popped to shops GS1 has asked for a roast dinner after school before football practice and I just realised we have no sprouts left , have lots of other veg but he has to have sprouts or its not a proper dinner
Tired today so just going to read my book and potter around nothing too taxing

Morning from me too ladies, a quiet day till 2.50 when I go to pick the twins up , think we might eat out tonight for tea , a bit of ironing and a tidy round bish bash bosh
Nanto why didn’t I think about putting the pies in uncooked they would have been much better to cook them fresh I’m a wally , told OH the pies were for when we had company for lunch but I did have some leftover pastry so made him his tarts
Rainy and a bit chilly here not venturing out staying warm and cosy, wonder how Plant is today

Good morning all. It's a very cold day here but at least it's not raining.
Had a busy day yesterday attempting to do some Christmas shopping. Thought I'd better make a start as we are definitely having our new kitchen fitted the first week in December. The floor is being taken up, the electrics are being renewed with strip lighting. As well as the kitchen cupboards being ripped out, it is going to be messy and noisy We are going to have to put the washing machine, freezer, fridge and cooker in the spare room, good job there is plenty of room for it all. Not looking forward to it but I keep telling myself it will be lovely when its all done.

Daisy, we have a UPVC door and we hang our wreath just like Oma does, it works a treat

Oma, we have a mischievous Imp that fills the wash basket every time my back is turned. Also, towels....there are always so many towels ....there are only two of us living here for goodness sake. If I ever get hold of that Imp I will give him what for I can tell you!

Daisy is it because you have a UPVC door you cant hang a wreath ? , we have one and I hang mine on a ribbon over the top of the door with heavy duty Velcro on the inside or you could do the same and use a command hook on the inside

Yes Oma it is uPVC. That sounds a good idea, but what is a command hook, please? 😀

Oooh no iron is like no cooker, Clover - a really good excuse!!

Daisy we have a hook which goes over the door, the wreath hangs on the hook at one side, the outside, and it rests on the top of the door and over the other side. Similar to Oma's idea, but no need to stick anything to the door.

One Christmas cake done and will go into the oven when our tea comes out. I will make Mums at the weekend.
It was very, very wet when I went out. OHs golf competition was cancelled.

I too have a UPVC front door. It has a door knocker about 1/3 from the top of the door. I use a piece of string to wrap it around the wreath and then tie it to the door knocker. This might also work for others with a UPVC door if there is something to secure it to. Good luck

Well it finally stopped raining about an hour ago.
I've heard it will be wet tomorrow as well.
