We have dinner at what a lot of people call lunch time.
How about poached/boiled eggs on toast, tomatoes on toast or cheese on toast.

We usually have a sandwich, but if the GDs are here I cook our main meal. Other options - crispbread with houmous topped with salady bits, scrambled eggs on toast, bacon butty, ham or tuna salad. In other words, nothing exciting!!!

We have our main meal at lunchtime now too. So tea is usually a sandwich or something on toast for DH with yoghurt or fruit, I’m usually still full so might just have the fruit, I’m not eating so much doing it this way round...bonus.

We always have a cooked meal between 1-2 pm . In our house if we are eating a cooked meal at home at that time of day we call it dinner, if we eat out at the same time of day we call it lunch. No idea why , mad isn’t it.
I like to eat a meal like that in the day and have some cream crackers, scone or toasted teacake at about 5ish as I have a hiatus hernia so a lighter meal at the end of the day is better for me .
