I don't have one but my Niece swears by hers and seems to do everything in hers .
My Friend Dorothy has one too and loves hers ,

DD2 has one. She thinks it’s marvellous! She has cooked most things in it. I did toy with the idea but decided not as I have managed without for all these years. If I was short on oven space then I would buy one. GM, I did think about buying one but thought is would be one of "those" gadgets, when DS2 came with this one I decided to use it and I do like it, I would put the oven on to prepare one piece of salmon, now the Air Fryer is on for 10 minutes. It is really good for roast potatoes, meat and veg etc.Comment

Gem - I've wondered about air fryers. To be honest, I'm still not sure how you'd use it and what for, and why. I thought it was a healthy way of doing chips?????

Thank you Lizzie - that is helpful. I probably shouldn't have read all the dire warnings and instructions about cleaning before I read about different models. It made the one that said 'dishwasher safe basket' stand out.
