Clover, well, that's the first one done and dusted. I'm glad it went smoothly and you didn't have any reactions. I think only 2 trips to the loo was very good going with all that fluid.

I'm sure you feel exhausted, so get as much rest as you need. Be kind to yourself and take care. Sending hugs. xx

Am pleased your first session went well Clover and I hope you don't suffer from any nasty side effects.
The only advice I'd give you is to take the anti sickness tablets if you need them. OH found them really useful when he was having treatment.
                  Take care of yourself xx

                    Just a quick update ladies.
So far not too bad. Worst part is a sore mouth which is putting me off eating as well as the food tasting a bit odd. I know I must persevere so am eating mainly soft things as much as I can..
I also have a spectacular rash ,mainly on my legs but also arms and body. It looks so unsightly but thank goodness doesn’t itch. I’m putting a neutral cream on it .
Tiredness is another issue but I’m taking it easy especially in the afternoons and going to bed about 9 each evening!
Thanks for asking about me in Chat xx

Clover, it seems so hard that in order to be well you have to suffer all these things.
Soft foods are the way to go for now.

That's 2 down, hang in there xxxxx

Clover, your sense of taste is so important, and it must be hard when it's impaired. If you don't feel like eating much has anyone at the hospital suggested protein shakes or similar? I am far too ignorant on the subject to offer that as advice, but if say your Consultant or Nurse thinks it's a good thing it would be worth it to keep you nourished and keep your energy levels up. Also easy to prepare when you're tired.

                              Sending hugs. x

Oh gosh Clover, how did I miss all this? I don’t check in as often as I should. Catching up now and holding you in my thoughts as you go through this. The grans on here are such a support, and how good it is that we are all here for to vent, cry, moan, and laugh when you need to x
