    Fancy a Cold Shower?

"They" are now telling us that a cold shower might be just what we need. Benefits are suppose to include increased dopamine, serotonin and b-endorphin levels - just as though we had had a cold-water swim in the sea or a lake.

    What do you think?

Not likely. I like my shower quite warm.
If i follow hubby for the shower,i always turn it up a bit.
He always turns it down if he follows me, but i don't think he would want it cold.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I think it's one of those things if you really did go for it, you would feel great (and very smug!) afterwards, but I'm not convinced! I might dare myself to try it though.

Nanto - I've had to turn the shower temp down while my face is so sore as it's too hot, but I noticed OH turns it up again.

            I have heard this theory.
Doubt I will be trying it though!

I believe it does have numerous health benefits, but so does a vegan diet and I’m not trying that either. Although I do jump in the ice pool after a sauna at the health spa, but only for a few seconds. I really love that.

When I am on holiday somewhere really hot, I always let the shower run cold just at the last moment, so I come out cool. It stops that coming out of a hot shower in a hot place thing. I haven't done it for any health reasons, although it seems it may have had some

I had my shower this morning and thought about this thread. My hand hovered (very briefly) over the temperature setting, but that's as far as it got!!

Sunshine - you're very brave. xx
