    Mini greenhouse

we have been thinking about little projects to keep us busy and wondered about getting a mini greenhouse so I can start some seeds off, without having to use windowsills. Has anyone got one and what do you think of them? DH is keen, but Iā€™m not sure. šŸŒŗ

OH had one for a couple of years, before getting a greenhouse. DD1 had one too before they got the allotment. I think they both found them useful.
I think you should get one if DH is keen

You can tell how good a gardener I am. I've never heard of a mini-greenhouse. Are they for mini-sized people?šŸ˜‰šŸ¤£

We had one of those metal framed clear plastic covered ones when we first moved into this house and we had boarders ,
I have always raised my own flowers etc from seed so I missed our big greenhouse ,
It worked fine but I did need to peg it down in windy weather ,
Im sure it would be very useful for you both . Go for one give it a go
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Enfys - someone on here has one - it might be Nanto, but I'm not sure.

Given that we're unlikely to be gallivanting all over the country in our caravan this summer, I've decided to keep my greenhouse for this year, so I'm about to get it cleaned out, washed down and start sowing. It's very satisfying growing something you can later eat, and a mini-greenhouse wouldn't be too much work. I think it's a lovely idea.

I think my friends husband has a mini greenhouse, not sure really what a mini is, I shall have to google it! He has a lean to on the shed wall and loves it. Sorry his is larger. I have just been looking, there are some nice mini ones though.

I agree with Daisy, go for it especially if OH is keen.

In case you're curious - a mini greenhouse. They can be bigger, smaller, more or less substantial, and even pop-up style.

I think we will get one, DH is keen, just need to decide which one to go for now. We had a big proper greenhouse at our old house, complete with lovely grape vine, I do miss that.

We have big greenhouse, hubby spends many an hour in there. pricking plants out, while listening to the radio.
Go for the mini greenhouse Enfys.

Daisy,it must be someone else here that has a mini greenhouse.

Oma - it's the very best thing to do on a sunny but cold day. You can imagine it's summer and shut out the world.

Enfys - I had a grape vine against OH's shed (sorry, workshop) before I got the greenhouse. It was lovely and I really enjoyed coaxing the grapes along.
