    What is September?

    Children going back to school
    Timetables, bells and all the rules
    Halloween tat in the shops
    Beach picnics sadly come to a stop
    The end of sunny paddling pool play
    Say hello to the shorter day
    The nights getting chilly, you may need a fleece
    Less neighbourhood barbecues means more peace
    The leaves change colour on the trees
    We miss the buzzing of the bees
    Although summer is coming to an end
    In September I will see my friends!
